The Charity Digital Benchmark is a live online dashboard that lets you measure your charity’s digital marketing against the sector, set realistic marketing targets for your sub-sector, and connect with a wider digital charity community.
The benchmark uses a combination of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and previous Universal Analytics data to check for accuracy, and then a live connection to GA4 and GTM to pull in your data. By using Google platforms and services we can guarantee your data security and safety.
We also use Big Query, Looker Studio, and more to create an easy-to-use dashboard which gives you a direct comparison to other charities in your sub-sector, as well as easy charts to show overall digital trends and useful information.
There are plans to expand into other areas to give you an even more thorough view of how your charity’s digital marketing is performing.
We also run an annual survey, which asks all members about their set-up within their team, their focus for the coming year, and any other aspects we can’t cover through the data. We build this survey in conjunction with our members, so if you have a question you’d love to know the answer to that GA4 can’t give you – we’d happily include it.
