As part of the community, member charities share their Analytics data into a central database, which fuels an online Looker Studio dashboard (previously known as ‘Data Studio’) accessible only by members. This dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of their performance compared to others, covering key metrics such as traffic patterns, device usage, bounce rates, repeat users, and channel effectiveness.
Furthermore, members can further analyze their data by benchmarking against similar organizations based on size or sector, such as ‘animal charities’ or ‘health charities.’ Alongside the dashboard, members have access to a forum, an annual survey, and an online conference where they can engage in best practice discussions and stay abreast of emerging trends.

Management of the Charity Digital Benchmark
The Charity Digital Benchmark was originally created by CharityComms over ten years ago and has been supported by Uprise Up since 2017. From February 2023, ownership and management of the Digital Benchmark passed to Digital Benchmark Limited, a subsidiary of Uprise Up, created to focus on management and continuous improvement of the Charity Digital Benchmark.
Digital Benchmark Limited has an advisory board, which includes a representative from CharityComms, where improvements to the betterment of the Charity Digital Benchmark are discussed, in addition to the financial performance of Digital Benchmark Limited.
We are currently looking for two members of the Charity Digital Benchmark to join Uprise Up and CharityComms representatives on the advisory board.
